The Crystal Palace was a building built only with iron, glass and stone, inspired on the Crystal Palace in London and with the goal of hosting industrial, agricultural and artistic exhibitions. Its first event was Porto’s International Exhibition, in 1865.

Casa da Musica (House of Music) is the main Concert Hall in Porto, Portugal.
It was designed by the dutch architect Rem Koolhass, as part of the 2001 Porto, European Capital of Culture, however its construction was  only finalized in 2005, immediately becoming one of the city’s icons.
